It seems that the beautiful Debian linux got better
I am testing Ubuntu 9.10 Koala – 64bit on my laptop.
- Ram – 3 GB ddr 2 – 667mhz
- HDD SATA – Toshiba 320 GB – 5400
- Sound : ADI1984
- Wireless : Broadcom 802.11 b/g BCM4312 802.11b/g
- ATI Radeon HD 3430 128 MB
- Broadcom Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
- Intel Core2 Duo 2.1MHZ
In Ubuntu 8.10 Intreprid it was my firs encounter with Ubuntu and it work very well but my video driver for ATI did not work very well my image at movies was bad it was unstable but in games works very well i mean 3d Shoter like Alien. Also my wireles network work very well.
– flash games work with dificulty.
No sound found .
But here i am in New Ubuntu 9.10 Koala 64 bit like a flower.
For now i manage to test :
Wireless network very good transfer 2900 b/second on 802.11 g router
Ati driver found and tested with movies works perfect
Now i have sound from the very fist start.
Work perfect with alien invaders game based on Quake engine.
I have 2 Operating Systems Windows XP 32 biti and Ubuntu 9.10 64bit , i like more Ubuntu , I open my Xp only for some software that it do’t work in Ubuntu.
